On 24 December 2018, I arrived in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, and spent a memorable evening at the iconic Dal Lake. Despite the cold winter weather, the beauty of the lake was captivating and made the visit truly unforgettable.
After arriving in Srinagar on a chilly winter afternoon, I eagerly awaited the opportunity to visit the world-famous Dal Lake. As evening approached, I made my way to the lakeside, where one of the most remarkable experiences of my journey to Jammu and Kashmir unfolded.
The December air was crisp and cold, while the snow-covered mountains surrounding Srinagar created a breathtaking backdrop. As the sun slowly descended behind the Himalayan peaks, Dal Lake transformed into a magnificent canvas of golden, orange, and silver reflections.
